I'm [personal profile] taichara, and that it's taken two days for me to manage to post this probably~ speaks volumes to how I'm needing a push in the hind end to start doing things again, oi >.>;;

My fanfic production has slowly crept up to a description of "a wee bit" after a virtual blackout of a half-decade or so; I seem to flipflop between drabbles and similar wee bits, and attempting things like the smaller bigbangs *facepalms* The fandoms I'm most inclined towards trying to tackle atm tend to involve mechanicals (Mega Man / Transformers continuities of various stripes) or are (semi-?)outliers like Saint Seiya and now Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. (someday I'll actually write for Awakening ...)

I also have some original work on the burner. I've self-published two novels and I really, really should be doing something with another one or two but my motivation has been eaten by my anxiety D: It's been a bad bad year, and just this January past did its damnedest to top 2013 all in one go DX

So here I am, hoping to get spurred a bit to get some more ficcing, and do something with the near half-dozen original works I'm staring at -- and also the trpg projects I've been letting languish which also need written and/or altering ...

My list is kind of incoherent atm, as can probably be inferred. Oopsie *facepalms*

Hi, I'm [personal profile] crookedspoon / [livejournal.com profile] penombrelilas and I am addicted to procrastination. Even now, as I am typing this post, I should be studying. Great, right?

So, I started writing fanfic (badly) in 2008, but still consider myself a beginning writer, because I've experienced too many writing droughts that made me forget everything I might have learned before.

Here's my Big List of Next and a shorter, more essential and annotated version for the priorities (mostly Sherlock and Bleach).

With the latter, I need help. I've never written multi-chaptered stories, and I have no idea how to go about structuring them.

I'd be very glad about any kind of input, e.g. if there are any stories you would like to see or how you keep track of your notes if you have any or your passion for writing, or whatever. If it has to do about writing, idea grooming, story structuring or anything similar, I'm all ears :D

As you can see, I am [personal profile] chordatesrock. I've got a long list and I'm going to be taking a crack at it this year. I just want to talk at you about it for a minute. (To you. I want to talk to you. I'm not just yakking at you until I remember why I like these ideas, totally, why would you think otherwise?)

I at least have the decency to put my completely uninteresting rambling behind a cut. )

So, yeah. I'm Rose. I used to write a lot, then I hit a major dry spell in around 2005ish when my health took a nosedive. I wrote nothing at all, except for small RP-related things, until 2009; since then I only manage to produce two or three exchange fics a year, and very occasionally one or two promptfest-type things. I have a million ideas (okay, a couple hundred) but mostly they stay ideas.

My main problem is, unfortunately, ongoing issues with fatigue/brainfog/lack of spoons, which is not something anyone can really help with.

My other problems are:

1. I'm a hermit who has bunnies almost exclusively for either really tiny fandoms, weird pairings, dark/squicky content, or my personal favourite ALL OF THE ABOVE. So I don't really know anyone canon-knowledgeable to help me get unstuck, in most cases.

2. I keep wanting to completely review canon before I write anything. Too bad I have a few dozen fandoms I want to write in, and some of them are 80+ hour JRPGS. *cough* Obviously this is not a practical thing to do! I need to get past the need to be "perfect" in terms of canon details. (Except for exchange fics. I will continue to review canon every time for those because they are for other people and not myself-and-whoever-else-happens-to-read-it).

Hi. I'm Jack.

I've actually been hanging around this comm for a while but never really made use of it, soooo I'm trying to turn that around this year, haha.

I write mostly video game fandoms. My main fandoms right now are Final Fantasy 4, World of Warcraft, BlazBlue, and Homestuck, with occasional forays into other stuff. I'm also working on some original things and some games that I'd like to make some headway on.

I have a WHOLE BUNCH of WIPs, some of which are actually quite short, thus making it extra embarrassing that they've lain in stasis for years at a time. If I may get a bit personal here I've been struggling with depression and concentration issues on and off for the past couple of years, which has made finishing things really hard. I'm trying to be proactive about it right now but it's still a struggle sometimes, and I hope that some cheerleading can help, heheh.

I also used to draw and do a lot of crafts, which I haven't done in a long time, so I might try getting back into those things as well.

My list of stuff is here if anyone is curious.

A lot of my fandoms are also pretty small, so if anybody is a fan of the canons I'm working with, feel free to say hi! I love talking about stuff. Although heads up, a lot of my stuff lately is kinda squick-y.

Hi folks! c: I'm Char, [profile] kotetsu also works (it is my username, after all!) but I feel terrible about writing under an alias of an actually good writer when I myself am uh really not. I found this community via [community profile] fandomcalendar and thought it was a neat idea, so here I am!

Writing-wise, I'm starting really small compared to some of you guys as all I want to do is tackle my ongoing bingo card, of which I have ideas and drafts for but approximately zero things completed. Considering the official deadline is in May...yeah. it's a small goal for someone who's very much a beginning writer, because I really don't want to count horribly embarrassing fanfic I wrote at 14 as actually being called writing.

My major issue is I find it really difficult to write for more than one series at a time, because I worry about forgetting minor details about the settings or characters and then I start second guessing myself to a really pathetic degree and never get anything accomplished. ARGH.

So yeah, nice to meet you all, let's kill some metaphorical bunnies together! \o/
