My name's Elleth, I'm a Tolkien nut, and I'm drowning in WiPs. And despite that, I keep signing up for new things. At the moment there are two bingo cards, three longfics, four, no, five signups for various exchanges and events... I also want to write more for Oxoniensis' Porn Battle while it is running, and that's not to mention those fanfics crawling from my own mind, of which there's an entire folder.
In short, enthusiasm and poor impulse control tend to get me into trouble, and they rarely stay long enough to see me through. I've had a pretty good track record in terms of finishing exchange fics for the last year, even if it usually ends with deadline panic (one of them is due in... two days and flopping around at 600 words without clear direction, *gulp*), but beyond that - not so much.
I found this community via Fandom Calendar, and it looks to be fun and helpful, so I'm looking forward to trying to getting a hold of some of those bunnies to try and extricate them from my brain.
