So what is this, anyway?
Basically, this is a support community for authors (or other fanwork creators/creative folks) with too many ideas, too many obligations, too much of pretty much anything, really...
You might know if you're one of these people by the trails of notes, bingo cards, or fest/big bang signups you leave in your wake.
Okay... That might be me.
If you have a story you started in 2003 that's lingering in a notebook at 500 words but you still have hope for it... If you start stories habitually but never can get them to 'The End'... If you still owe some one auction art from two years ago... If you are looking at wall full of bingo cards and wondering where to begin...

Oh no! Don't even worry about it. This is a Low-Pressure community. If deadlines and having someone chase after you with a spatula makes you work better, that can be arranged. But... the intent is to keep everything guilt free.
So I don't have to have a clean slate by the end of this?
If you've finished ONE THING you wouldn't have finished otherwise, you did good. Real good. If you have a clean slate, good job!
So what do I do?
Join the community. Subscribe too, if you'd like. Feel free to introduce yourself if you'd like. You don't have to. And then sit back. Every Wednesday (possibly varying depending on the Real Life of the admin) a new 'Inspirational' message or Check-In will be posted.
What if I create...
Fanfiction, original fiction, fanart, original art, m/m, f/f, m/f, icons, meta, knitting patterns, noodle sculptures, whatever... it's okay. You are welcome here.

If you'd like. Please link to the work posted elsewhere (journal, AO3, etc.) with proper headers.

In all honesty, you don't need to post anything here. But if you finished something from four years ago and are feeling particularly proud, go ahead. We would love to see your success.
What if it's March/June/September/Whenever and I'd like to join?
Well, you may not get the full impact of the community, but feel free to join! Work at your own speed through the 'motivational' posts but do not do them straight through, in one sitting, or without time between because that's losing the 'low stress' aspect of the community and also the goal of not only finishing things but fully understanding your own personal undertaking.

Yes! This is your space, as long as it's on topic (RPG ads are not on topic). Please feel free to share personal triumphs, blocks, strategies, goals, questions, etc. Someone probably has some encouraging words or ideas for you.
