Intro thing

Hi. I'm Jack.

I've actually been hanging around this comm for a while but never really made use of it, soooo I'm trying to turn that around this year, haha.

I write mostly video game fandoms. My main fandoms right now are Final Fantasy 4, World of Warcraft, BlazBlue, and Homestuck, with occasional forays into other stuff. I'm also working on some original things and some games that I'd like to make some headway on.

I have a WHOLE BUNCH of WIPs, some of which are actually quite short, thus making it extra embarrassing that they've lain in stasis for years at a time. If I may get a bit personal here I've been struggling with depression and concentration issues on and off for the past couple of years, which has made finishing things really hard. I'm trying to be proactive about it right now but it's still a struggle sometimes, and I hope that some cheerleading can help, heheh.

I also used to draw and do a lot of crafts, which I haven't done in a long time, so I might try getting back into those things as well.

A lot of my fandoms are also pretty small, so if anybody is a fan of the canons I'm working with, feel free to say hi! I love talking about stuff. Although heads up, a lot of my stuff lately is kinda squick-y.

Belf feet. I thought feet would be really interesting to people with hooves, which don't really feel much.

Haha. Well. I started it for Kink Bingo and while I don't really care about Kink Bingo anymore, I liked the idea enough to keep poking at it despite not really feeling obligated to produce stuff for the original inspiration. I'm not really into feet particularly but the xeno-from-the-alien's-perspective thing is really fun.

I actually stalled on it because I wasn't feeling up to writing banter :/

Hey Jack! I just wanted to say that it's excellent to see smaller game titles being written for! I'm only really familiar with Blazblue and Final Fantasy 4 but consider me a vocal cheerleader for you getting stuff done in these fandoms o/

I'm also super curious about your lesbian tentacles original because that quite frankly sounds fine.

Well, hahah those are actually my favorite two fandoms at the moment! I'm new to BlazBlue fanfiction despite having been in the fandom technically for a while (I used to do competitive play occasionally, even), but I wrote some for Yuletide and I liked it pretty well so I thought I'd actually dive in. I'm kind of a huge crazy fan of what amounts to side characters in both of those games, so I don't know what the actual AUDIENCE for the stuff I'm writing is, but...I just have all these feelings ;_;

The lesbian tentacles original is basically just porn, but it's lesbian tentacle porn, so. :V I just...didn't see a lot of that in the original porn world (or the fanfic porn world, but there's at least a LITTLE bit there).

I'm not in any of your fandoms, though I have occasionally read the odd Homestuck fic for the xeno. Did I see Homestuck guro at the top there? *shakes pompoms*

I'll join you in the personal and say I battled similar things a couple years ago and a considerable few wips were all but abandoned. The worst of it passed, I started writing again, but never picked up those particular wips again. That part has proven most difficult for me. Proactive is good. *is inspired*
