wtf it's december already...

I know we missed a week, but if you get a chance, look through your list/notes/etc. and if you want, scrap anything that isn't working. (Or put it aside for later. Recycling is good!)

Having dashed off a few quick and mostly dirty shorts for Femslash Kink, my attention returns to my attempt at a post-series revision of Samurai Jack. Had the whole thing mostly outlined already, so today I've added a bit more and started actually writing it. As far as my other bunnies, managed to scribble some dialogue on a fun crossover idea that keeps taunting me.

You miss a week and half & the net falls over!

Anyway, it's all been good bunnywise, as bunnies have reappeared, after I had given up on my writing Muse! I have a fic in rough hopefully for Fandom Stocking. I've got another on the go (although it's showing I haven't written fic for a while:/) and an idea for another when it's done.

Things are good on the crafting side as I've made two decorations for xmas and I did a little on my feltie fan project.

I've been trying to re-string a broken bead bracelet but so far it's thwarting me and I've gotten tired of picking beads out of the carpet.

I am trying to work up to letting myself even accept my wilder fanfic ideas, I usually get so bogged down by being embarrassed of them that I don't write them. I am capable of writing, I just don't believe enough in myself, I guess.

I know this feeling and it's a hard one to work through. Best of luck, and all I can really suggest is to keep trying. (If you need to, make a new account just for those stories, and maybe knowing you can have the distance from your normal pseud might help?)

I finally got really going on my Yuletide assignment (I won't say how much I've written because that could give it away eventually, but let's just say it's more than I usually write for an assignment) and found a time in the day that works to just write and write on it. And I might have found someone to help me get over some of the hurdles with the 11k Rookie Blue WIP I want to finish writing so badly! So even more motivation to finish my YT assignment, because I won't let myself write anything else until it's DONE.

Also making progress on non-fannish projects (which dovetail with work/financial things, so Very Important). I still feel stressed and "too much to do!" but I'm getting it done and have hopes of eventually seeing things calm down a little…

The bunnies are breeding faster than I can catch them, as usual.

As a test, I've jacked my word count goal for the day to 5K, with the intention of writing every day but one in December, and if I make it, I will have accomplished a BUCKET LIST item, HUGE for me.

Individual story plotting is a pain right now, but it's got to be done for January plans. Indivdual story editing is actually worse. No matter how many times I've combed through the same piece, I find ANOTHER typo, or worse, bad reference (green when I needed blue, etc.) It's dispiriting.

Getting close to Seekrit Santa deadline! Not done yet! Can't make these stupid characters just go where I need them to go! (And the show I"m directing auditions on Monday/Tuesday so I am rapidly running out of spare time.)
