I'm going for the full 50k with Nano this year but I'm a bit behind. Not massively yet though.

Been a busy week so I haven't really done anything:/ I have decided if I don't finish drawing my backcover art by Tuesday I'll give up on it, too many stressy to do by things with Christmas coming up!

Sometimes setting things aside for a bit is the most helpful, true.

I finally got really going on my Yuletide assignment. Made minimum wordcount - and have a long ways to go on the story itself, lol. I'll see if I can't get more written over the next few weeks, see where it ends up. Was also very productive on non-writing projects this week, so all in all feels good.

I love that feeling when you get really into an exchange assignment. So satisfying!

This was the year I finally finished a lot of fics that were stuck in WIP/incomplete mode for at least two years. And I still have more in the backlog that haven’t even been started yet.

It’s bittersweet that most of the mutuals who these inspired these fic ideas with me aren’t active or in the fandom anymore when I finally updated. But that’s the harshness of real time. I’ll still keep pressing on with my work because I won’t get tired of it, ever.
