However, I know just how stressful and busy this time of the year is. Therefore, this isn't really a check-in, but of course you may. It is, however, permission to relax and enjoy yourself for a bit. Your plotbunny herd is not going anywhere.

I was stuck on a detail of plot/characterization in a short story that has taken... sheesh,most of a MONTH to finish. I posted the first part today, go TEAM EDITING! LOL.

The actual word count for December is AWESOME, and I've got a second fic 2/3 done, along with a third fic outlined. I'd love to continue this kind of finish-post-finish-post speed for next year, but I honestly can't expect it; there's too much going on in real life.

In terms of "real numbers," my stretch goal for the month was 29K words. I hit that this morning (it's 3am here). On the one hand, two 5K-word stories done in the same week is wonderful, but it's still hard to make time for the BIG piece I'm shockingly nervous about. It's like no matter how I set the goals, I keep thinking of OTHER projects, you know?

I re-edited the first chapter of The Fucking Beast That Won't Die (Kain Highwind why are you a thing that owns my brain. WHY.) My beta is about halfway through it (it's 200k), so--Taking It Off the Fucking List 2016?! Maybe?!

I have the entire draft knocked out, but now it needs edits, and this project has been ongoing for almost ten years. I just want to finish it. XD
