Working on rewrites!

Are re-writes a fun thing for you, or something you dread?

I usually enjoy it, especially if I've been pondering a story for a long time and have a lot of new stuff to work in. Sometimes I start from the first word and rewrite everything, and sometimes it's fitting in new scenes around old ones. It can be a lot of fun.
