We've been here for ELEVEN MONTHS! \o/ It is time, if you need or want to revise your list, to revise your list! There is nothing wrong with keeping all your bunnies, but it is also okay to let go.


This is also a weekly check-in! You do not have to check in, of course, but if you would like to comment on the last week, feel free!


If you have a deadline coming up, you can do it! If you need a deadline, feel free to ask!


There is no current brainstorming post, but if someone would like one, let me know and I'll make it.

Got kind of blindsided by new year anxiety and the return of the polar vortex (why) and haven't written much the last few days.

Gained a new fandom (Teen Wolf) and I think all of my bunnies for that fandom are battling to get to the front of my brain so I start writing for it but I have obligations to my older fandom (Kuroko) too...

Have one short thing that I want to get done for the end of the week though since the Kuroko anime is coming back on Saturday and I wanted to participate in the countdown for it!

*hugs* (My personal cure for New Years/new year anxiety, which used to make a mess of me, is to pretty much ignore it. Go to bed early on the 31st, don't do much other than change out my organizer, and not let anyone make it into a big deal. The last two year-changeovers have been so much calmer with this plan.)

Good luck with the countdown fic, that sounds fun!

Actually did some ficlets for fic_promptly last week, which was a bit of a surprise all things being equal ...

I'm hoping to be able to herd my nuclear-powered cats once my shift changes on the weekend and maybe have a tentative list of "bunnies" by the time the next year-session kicks in. For now I'm just working on getting my shit back together >.>;;

I wrote 6 out of the first 7 days of the year. Including about 1k on a bunny from the list!

Hi again, all!

This week I wrote a ficlet for Yuletide's NYR and a ficlet for fandom_stocking.

Now I'm going to shelve my other NYRs and get back to work on That WIP I Should Have Finished Before Yuletide. I promised to help benedict run Once Upon a Fic (http://archiveofourown.org/collections/nyr2015), whose nominations start on the 25th, so the current chapter of the WIP needs to be done by then.

This week has not been great, and I'm already behind on my word count for the year, which is pathetic. I'm just not feeling it. I think winter blues have come early for me this time around.

What I did do: a single ficlet, and some editing on a novel. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Don't think of it as 'behind' yet - we're only a week into the year and one or two good days later will make up for it. You can only do what you can do, please don't burn yourself out worrying on a daily basis.

That sounds like a good amount of things, honestly. Hopefully the sun will come out (here, too) and the next week will be better.

Mostly being a lazy-bones and getting my place in order... A few tiny website updates and some editing, but I think that's it. And it's kinda nice?

Oh! I did sit down and write, edit and post a fic from a friend's birthday challenge thinger... in 2003. ^^;; you, too, can still finish things! It was simple to sit down and write, so while I feel bad that it took so long (and yes, she got it), yay that it's done and I need to do more things once I'm done with house-things and general life-organizing.
