Have been at my recently-widowed mother-in-law's for the past 2 weeks trying to help her pack. Have poked a bit at a current WIP, but the unfamiliar surroundings have been too distracting for me to buckle down and accomplish anything in my in-between times. I brought some files to read, hoping to get a running start on my Yuletide research, but trying to read manga on a tiny netbook that crashes when I try to rotate the pages ... well, I guess research will wait another week.

I'm hoping that the building frustration of wanting to write but not being able to will result in an explosion of fic when I get home

The good news is I posted my Avengers story for the marvel_bang.

The not so good news is the fact that I still haven't finished my dark angel bang or spent any real time planning my Nano writing. Frustration abounds as I have so much to do and by the time I sit down to write, there's no energy left and I find myself falling asleep.

That sounds like me, especially with it being so dark so early here. I am hoping once I get past Halloween and whatnot, the Busy will die down and I'll be able to do something (NaNo notes? ha! I have managed a half-done list of who miiight be in my story this year. *winces*)

Got nothin' this week. *sigh* But I had beadwork to finish and various running-around to do, and my sleep cycle is a bit thrown off, which has very bad effects on my writing stamina. Hoping to finally pull the muses together as November begins.

Really need to write the two hc_bingo ficlets I have left to do. I've managed one a month since I signed up, and that pace would let me finish up by the year-end deadline, but I'd really like to get them in sooner than that. (Especially if fandom_stocking is active this year.)

I didn't really have anything this week, either - way too much going on with pre-Halloween stuff.

I've been hearing a lot about Fandom Stocking this year - I'll have to check it out.
