This is a check-in post! You do not have to check in if you don't want to and there are no requirements for what you need to check in with. This is your space, so have at!


Feel free to talk about success, frustration, current projects, nagging projects, exciting projects, and everything else going on.


If you have a deadline, you can do it! If you need a deadline, they're available.


And for the important announcement: There will be no 2019 round. At the end of January, I'm locking the doors, putting the chairs on the tables, and sweeping the floor. I appreciate everyone's participation over the years, the folks who helped mod while I finished up school, and the community in general. Because I know how the year starts going quickly from this point on, I wanted to give advance notice and time for everyone to find new hangouts. I'll keep posting check-ins til the end of January, and you're welcome to stay til then. Thank you.

I'll miss it too. It was a hard decision to make, but one I feel was right.

I've had a pretty good week and I've started writing a completely self-indulgent mary sue fic which is pleasing.

I'll be sad without a 2019 round, but I want to thank you so much for giving me a place to check in (even when I didn't manage it). <3

Sorry that I've been absent. It's been one of those summers. I agree with the above: We're thankful for the comm, and it's entirely possible we'll find another in the future.

Sorry to hear there's no 2019 round, but I can understand how difficult it must be to mod when you're v. busy.

I have nearly finished my felt doll. Embroidering teeny-tiny eyes and making them look good is really hard, and time consuming, but just a few more stitches now! I have started on doing the annual 'Trick or Treat' meme by doing some rough sketches.

I'd rather end on a good note than accidentally disappear or something and leave everyone hanging. And next year looks like it'll be a busy one for RL.
