Heya! I'm looking at Scrivener too, though I might try the trial out for a month first to see if it actually helps me. Right now I'm using Evernote to keep all my writing sort of organized. Have you ever heard of it? It's a free note-taking program, but it can be so much more, since it allows you to tag everything and then build searches based on those tags, kind if like how gmail words. You can take audio notes, snap pictures, and attach things to it as well, and if your handwriting is neat enough it will automatically OCR even that so that it's searchable. The great thing is that there are mobile apps for the program as well as the more robust desktop version, so you can use it on the go.
