Hi! Welcome to onedeadplotbunny 2015! There's a sort of basic FAQ on the profile page, but if you have more specific questions, feel free to ask them here.

If you're joining at a time that's not the first week of February, that's okay! You can join at any time, post at any time, etc. Go through the archives at your own pace and don't feel stressed. There is no 'catching up' to do.

This is a motivation/support community first and foremost. I don't want anyone to ever feel bad about their backlog/signups/whatnot. I don't want anyone to feel that they have to clear out their backlog instantly, or anything like that. I don't want anyone feeling stressed, even though there might be a few tasks right away that can be stressful (or fun, depending on mindset - I like the fun).

But you can do it! You really can.

Feel free to make an introduction post. Feel free not to. Feel free to ask for help unsticking a plot. Feel free to post resources. Feel free to post success! Feel free to commiserate (because sometimes you just need to wonder out loud why you sighed up for the XYZ Exchange again even though you pull your hair out every time you do)... This is everyone's space.

Weekly check-ins, once we get on schedule for the year, will be ~Wednesdays. For the first week or so of the community, things will be very busy. Besides this post and our first activity, a lot of people choose to introduce themselves. You don't have to make an intro post, of course, just like you don't have to participate in activities, discussion, or check-ins. Or you can introduce yourself in June, if you'd like. It is all good.

I found this community advertised in others and decided to join. I have a few unfinished stories, both fanfiction and original, but I mainly wanted to join because I really want to work on original fiction. I've found it's a lot easier for me to have plot bunnies for fanfiction, but they always die when I try it with original fiction. I don't usually join writing challenges or support groups because I tend to work on things whenever I "feel" like it, but these unfinished stories and projects mean a lot to me because they are from my heart and soul. Thanks for having this group. :)

I've been finding it peronsally motivating just to have a place to "announce" my progress for the week (and because sometimes there's no progress, I also appreciate that there's no pressure in thei community.)

I found this community yesterday, as it was advertised in another community I was subscribed to. Let me tell ya, this place is exactly what I was looking for. There's been a plot bunny that has been bothering me since September! I've already technically written thousands of words about it just discussing it online with friends. Unfortunately when it comes to actually cracking down and writing, I have about 3500 words, 1000 of which are my unfinished outline. A story like this demands at least 30,000 words from me, and I have never written anything that long. The story doesn't even rely much on world-building, most of it is character driven and rom-com, I just need to find the motivation and confidence to complete it. I would've abandoned this fic idea long ago if it would just leave me alone! But no, it just keeps coming back to me. I would really like to turn this idea into the full-length fic it deserves.

Hi! I'm Michelle. I saw this comm advertised, and this is just what I need. I've got a huge list of stuff to finish, and not enough motivation and focus to get through any of it. Right now I'm waffling over whether or not to try to finish up a story for a Valentine's challenge that I said I would. There's no obligation to do so, but I'd feel all guilty if I don't...but at the same time, I just can't find any enthusiasm for the project. SIGH.

Anyway! This looks like a great comm. Looking forward to being here.

Take a couple days and let your hindbrain think about the story. It might come up with something surprisingly good that gets your enthusiasm back. If not, it's not meant to be.

This community is exactly what I need right now! I didn't write at all last year, but decided that this year I was gonna make a concerted effort to write 150k. I have SO MANY notes for ideas and works in progress in my Evernote notebook. This will be perfect for tracking my progress and commiserating with others. :)

Yay! I hope you make your goal and follow thru on those ideas. (My problem with number goals is that I kept coming up with new stuff to meet them and not dealing with the old stuff. Be careful of that~)

W00t! Last year I lurked for the most part, but I intend to participate more actively this time around. First of all, here's hoping I can sort out my plot bunny list. Even if it's not that long, it has gotten a tad convoluted as of late. Also, I would like to get writing, since I usually think of scenarios and then let things gather dust. I even started to publish a fic as soon as I was done with a chapter, hoping that I had some incentive to finish quickly. No such thing! I'm probably updating once a month, and I often forget about it. So yup, there are things I want to achieve this year. Good luck to everyone else, too!

My problem with WiPs and posting chapters as I go is that, like, a day later I've forgotten that I need to keep writing the fic. I didn't used to be that bad, but, uh... whoops?

I think this is a 'all the WiPs' year for a lot of people. We can do it!

Uhm, hi! I've been lurking on the edges of fandom for a long time, but I'm trying to get out there more! I did a lot of things for Fandom_stocking this year, and it was really cool, so... yeah! Here goes nothing! :D

Plans: I have original fic projects that take up most of my time, but I want to get some fan stuff done, too, most notably more Sleepy Hollow works about Abbie and Jenny being awesome together, and hopefully some Star Wars Rebels stuff, if I feel gutsy enough to tackle that canon.

I just found this comm through reading one of kalloway's entries. Looks like an interesting good set up for me, and I do have problems when it comes to finishing fanfictions. There's one I really, really don't want be forgotten--and I'm happy a lot of people like it!

I'm also creative through art and music. I'm currently struggling a little through that too.

My name's Marianne, but you all can call me Mari for short if you want. I don't mind. :)

Hi, I'm Alex. I saw this comm mentioned on my LJ flist and thought I'd poke around. I have a plotbunny hutch (a Word file called bunny hutch) where I jot down ideas for things. Right now, I'm working on a massive WIP that I've forgotten most of, signed up for a Thon in my ship's comm, and have at least three sequels I want to write. Clearly, I need help. ;-)
