I'm looking for a bit of inspiration and cheerleading (and am happy to return same). You seem like a good bunch. So hi.
I'm a NZ fanfic writer whose involvement took a dive during university. Then I discovered Yuletide in 2010 and have gradually joined more and more exchanges, to the point that when I say, "...pinch hit?" my husband starts laughing and even the cat looks annoyed.
One problem I have is that listing WIPs and their details seems to make me less motivated to write them. It's as if I've already told the story in some way. So if it's okay, although I have a lot of vague it-would-be-nice ideas simmering in the back of my head, I'll just list my current priorities, because all of them have further external pressure beyond "would like to write":
-Chapters 3 and 4 of my Rarewomen 2014 story (Black Jewels gen). I tied off some plot and themes when I submitted it, but I want to give it a more satisfying ending.
-A treat for a pinch hitter for Night on Fic Mountain 2014.
-My Crossovering assignment, due mid-late August.
-My Exchange at Fic Corner assignment, due at the end of August.
-A treat for Exchange at Fic Corner that I all but promised someone I'd write.
-A Yuletide New Year's Resolution fic I started in 2011. Could this be the year I finish it?
