An Intro & Whatnot

Hi,
onedeadplotbunny's dozen-plus new members (and our returning group, of course)!
Welcome! I mentioned that it's totally cool to make an intro post if you want to make one (but you do not have to), so here is mine:
Hi! I'm
kalloway. I write. I craft a bit, too, and sometimes attempt to draw. But mostly, I write.
I write mostly for anime/manga and video game fandoms, along with original work in a couple of decade-old universes. I maintain my own fanfic archive, which I still hardcode in Notepad. (One of my 2014 goals is to get it updated - since I'm several years backlogged, it is a large task.)
My current, somehow-still-has-space-in-it plotbunny notebook has more than 700 entries in it, though it also has 98 checkmarks. I still need to finish logging a handful of bingo cards and prompt lists, though. It also doesn't have some prompts from memes, etc. that I've slowly been tracking down in old journal entries. But I'll get there!
In the past, I've tried various 'write all the words!!' communities with quantity numbers, but I mostly ended up writing new stuff and not looking back at older ideas/projects, which just frustrated me more. And it was stressful, with mandatory check-ins and percentages and whatnot. I don't want this community to ever be stressful (though I know making a project/plotbunny list can be kind of overwhelming) like that. Check-ins, introductions, etc. are always optional. Honestly, you can play along from the sidelines and it's a-ok.
My main problem is that my brain is pretty much always zipping along at warp-speed. That means that even though I'm supposed to be finishing a nearly-done (and quite due) story for Project 1, it's already thinking on Projects 2-5 and wanting to review canon and ramble and generally ignore Project 1 because that's so five minutes ago! So aside from vast quantity of projects, I'm working on refining my abilities to focus. ^^;;
If you're like me, or not like me, well, either way, you aren't alone. There's hope for that plotbunny from 1995 and all those bingo cards can be won and yes, it makes sense that you want to finish that giftfic for someone you don't even talk to who is in a different fandom now anyway.
Hi. Welcome to
onedeadplotbunny. This is your space so please feel free to utilize it as necessary/desired. We're all in this together.
