Hi, [community profile] onedeadplotbunny's dozen-plus new members (and our returning group, of course)!
Welcome! I mentioned that it's totally cool to make an intro post if you want to make one (but you do not have to), so here is mine:

Hi! I'm [personal profile] kalloway. I write. I craft a bit, too, and sometimes attempt to draw. But mostly, I write.

I write mostly for anime/manga and video game fandoms, along with original work in a couple of decade-old universes. I maintain my own fanfic archive, which I still hardcode in Notepad. (One of my 2014 goals is to get it updated - since I'm several years backlogged, it is a large task.)

My current, somehow-still-has-space-in-it plotbunny notebook has more than 700 entries in it, though it also has 98 checkmarks. I still need to finish logging a handful of bingo cards and prompt lists, though. It also doesn't have some prompts from memes, etc. that I've slowly been tracking down in old journal entries. But I'll get there!

In the past, I've tried various 'write all the words!!' communities with quantity numbers, but I mostly ended up writing new stuff and not looking back at older ideas/projects, which just frustrated me more. And it was stressful, with mandatory check-ins and percentages and whatnot. I don't want this community to ever be stressful (though I know making a project/plotbunny list can be kind of overwhelming) like that. Check-ins, introductions, etc. are always optional. Honestly, you can play along from the sidelines and it's a-ok.

My main problem is that my brain is pretty much always zipping along at warp-speed. That means that even though I'm supposed to be finishing a nearly-done (and quite due) story for Project 1, it's already thinking on Projects 2-5 and wanting to review canon and ramble and generally ignore Project 1 because that's so five minutes ago! So aside from vast quantity of projects, I'm working on refining my abilities to focus. ^^;;

If you're like me, or not like me, well, either way, you aren't alone. There's hope for that plotbunny from 1995 and all those bingo cards can be won and yes, it makes sense that you want to finish that giftfic for someone you don't even talk to who is in a different fandom now anyway.

Hi. Welcome to [community profile] onedeadplotbunny. This is your space so please feel free to utilize it as necessary/desired. We're all in this together.

Hello,
I am Vexed.

I write fanfiction for many fandoms. FullMetal Alchemist (First Anime) and Supernatural are my go to comfort fandom.

Original is mostly for the [livejournal.com profile] madrona_project

My to do list is
here.
My biggest goal is to update everything on my list this year. I would love to finish everything but I don;t want to set myself up for something that complicated so I am going to just try to update every single claim.

I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Hey there, I am cheshirejin and I am a procrastinator extraordinaire.

Some of the fics on my to do list   haven't been updated since before 2006.

I do still intend to finish them all. I just need to work up some enthusiasm for it.

Most of what I write is fanfiction though some  of my to do stuff is original works  for the madrona_project . (it is 18+ so if you aren't, you won't get in, sorry)

I have no clue if this community will help or not with motivating me but I am giving it a shot. If nothing else I can do some cheerleading for everyone.

 Hi, everyone!

I've joined the community to feel more accountable with finishing a project. I would very much like to get poked with sticks, if that can be arranged!
I mostly draw fanart for the SPN fandom and this year I decided, instead of doing the SPNJ2BB, I'd like to illustrate an older fic I really like. So getting done in a similar timeframe (posting July) would be the aim. Breaking it down into manageable steps will be my first goal. And I'll also try to get some other ideas more organized while I'm at it *eyes list assignment*.

Greetings!

I am currently a fanfic writer in the NCIS-verse, but am hoping to branch into original fic sometime later this year. I have at least 5 stories in various stages of planning/WIP status, and would like to get closure on at least some of these before I embark on the original stuff.

I lost my mojo for writing over a year ago now when I received some pretty horrible feedback on a story. It was only one person, but it hit me severely enough that it made me pull the story in question from all its various homes on the web, and curl into a ball for months & months, producing absolutely nothing.

I've been slowly emerging from the resultant coma over the past several months, and have lurked here almost since this community was created. I'm finally ready to get into the game again, and would appreciate some cheerleading and light prodding.

I'm more than happy to provide the same. :)

 Hello!

I just stumbled over this community on [community profile] fandomcalendar  and I think it's a brilliant idea.

I write and post fic pretty regularly, but only the stuff that I have deadlines for (i.e. bigbangs, fests, exchanges). Anything that doesn't have someone specific depending in me to get it done gets pushed to the end of the line and usually doesn't even get started. I have been working on a sequel to one of my fics for a year because it doesn't have a firm deadline. Its finally finished but still needs a lot of editing and revision. I feel really guilty that its still not ready to post because I get questions about it all the time.

I have two main problems. One, like other people have mentioned, I have way more ideas than I will ever get to write. Second, a lot of my ideas are for fandoms/pairings/ideas that I don't think anyone else is interested in reading. But just making the list of ideas post has really gotten me energized and excited by some of the plot bunnies so maybe just reviewing it periodically will help keep that excitement and motivation.

Hopefully having a place to share and cheer on others will help keep the energy up as well, so I'm really glad I found this place:)
