Thanks. I've done pretty badly so far this week, actually, but I hope I can sprint to the finish of my Verbosity word goal. Good luck to yourself as well!

(I thought that WIP Big Bang sounded awesome, BTW... and then LJ inexplicably marked my signup comment as spam. :( That was a highly disappointing welcome. Hopefully the admins can sort it out.)

Hope things were sorted out - I find LJ very unpredictable these days, I'd much rather hang out here on DW, but the mods of the comm seem friendly from what I've seen so far. I got a nice message when I pm'd my contact to them. Hope they sort everything out for you.

Between the nice mods and a complaint to LJ, it looks like I'm good to go now. :)

Seriously. After using LJ for ten years (most of them as a paying user), I got so fed up with their shenanigans that I dumped them for DW over a year ago. Haven't regretted it for a second, and I can't imagine why every last (non-Russian) LJ user doesn't make the switch. But I guess now I'll have to remember to check my LJ friendlist for WIP Big Bang posts. :Þ

If you want I can try to remember to poke you when I see something. I switched 2 and a half years ago - I only keep the LJ account now for signing up for things - my feelings on why don't people all switch over here is pretty similar to yours,I think. Good luck with the writing!

I moved my LJ friendlist link to a more accessible place in my favorites, so I think I'll manage with remembering to check it. :) Thanks thiough!
