That brings the total I've written for this fic to 20k, all in August (more or less). Holy crap. I don't think I've written that much in this short a time, like, ever.
Of course, this is not even remotely on any of the WIPs that I was intending to finish this year! A wholly new project. Still, I'm happy to be writing. It feels really good. It's been a hard year and this (extremely self-indulgent) story is just what I needed.
